What do you think of black nail polish?

I hate it whenever I paint my nails black, because everyone thinks I'm emo/depressed. Just wondering ^^What do you think of black nail polish?

I always paint mine black, its basically the only color except for basic french that I use. It only looks good on long nails and if it gets chipped, get it done again because then it looks dirty. A reversed french manicure would also look good. Very dark gray, black or navy blue polish (any bold, dark color will work) with white bottom and tips. I wear it all year round. But you should only wear it if you can pull it off.

or punky and edgy. It depends how you dress it up. A lot of people wear it now, not just emo styled people. But just ignore everyone else, who cares what they think. Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Black nail polish has been around for decades. Its a classy look and one that goes great with most outfits.

personally i love black nail polish...in the fall or winter. i like brighter colors for spring and summer. but if you just like dark nail polish colors you could try a brown or a plum would be pretty too. other than that rock it. who cares what other people think?
i love it on fashionable people just look at lauren conrad you dont have to be emo to wear it if you wanna wear it dont't wear loads of black else this will make it goth and emo but just wear it with realy nice clothes have fun and do what u want

i like it, but i dont use true black, instead i go for really dark purple or red, you get the same effect and it looks a little better.

i wear black nail polish all the time. i don't think it makes you look emo/depressed. just as long as you don't wear all black clothing with it, it looks just fine. :]
if you're pale skinned, it's a nice contrast to wear dark nail polish. But i suggest using brown and not black, because it really does look kind of emo.
it's weird how people think just because you wear black nail your emo, same thing happens to me. It's just nail polish!! A lot of stars where it and their not emo. It's stereotyping.
i dont know why dressing in black people makes people think your emo, basically the color black is hott especially black nail polish. Its looks so sexy=)
the balck nail polish can look cool with certain outfits...but when you wear all black plus the black nail polish...then you will look emo.
depending on the type of person you are. it may look a little gothic on some but if you wear with the right outfits you'll probably rock the nail polish!
